| Anyone know a local Z mech in the Fairfax VA area? I used to do lots of my own work on my 91 2+2 before moving to Fairfax since I had a garage and all the time in the world. Now that I'm a northern VA commuter I can't even change my own oil without going to a DIY shop but I usually chicken out on the harder repairs. As a result I either put them off or give in to the dealer. I absolutely hate going to the dealer for major repairs on my Z. I would love to do my own work but need help from a local tt.net pro. My Z has 180k miles and just yesterday my engine dumped all the coolant just as I got home from work. I can tell it's coming from the lower radiator hose at the engine block so I suspect either the water pump or hard hose seal. I'm overdue so I'm looking to do the timing belt package. I'd rather pitch in and get my hands dirty and pay a local Z mech to know it gets done right. Any suggestions are appreciated!
